DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in the photonics industry? Then we have something for you!  Photonics uses photons instead of electrons to transfer information. This can be used to create more  energy-efficient\, faster\, and more accurate microchips. \nDuring this lunch lecture you will learn more about the possibilities for work and study in the field of photonics. Andrea Fiore will give a short introduction and will talk about the new MasterPlus Optics&Photonics program. Furthermore\, former students that work in the field of photonics will give some talks about their experiences. Representatives from the PhotonDelta ecosystem will also give pitches. The PhotonDelta ecosystem consists of more than 60 partners that together form the whole chain from the design to the application of photonic chips.
