SUMMARY:Photonics information session
DESCRIPTION:In the last few years\, the photonics industry has boomed in the Brainport region\, and there are many career opportunities for physicists and electrical engineers. \nOn October 11 Andrea Fiore\, a member of the Eindhoven Hendrik Casimir Institute\, will tell us about the ongoing research activities\, the possibilities for internships and jobs in the sector and the PhotonDelta Fast Career Track Program at the TU/e. Afterwards\, former TU/e students will talk about their work experience in a dynamic photonics start-up and the Photonics Society Eindhoven. \nThe information session will be together with Van der Waals\, and will be in the Colloquium room on floor 6 during the break. Lunch will be provided. You can (un)subscribe until October 9th. If you are later\, then you can still come but there might not be lunch left. Please notify us by mailing to board@ma-odin.nl if you cannot make it. This will prevent the waste of food.
