DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in space exploration and revolutionary satellite missions? Then we got something for you! \nThe European Space Agency (ESA) is at the forefront of exploring our universe and understanding our own planet: from mapping the Milky Way to studying Jupiter’s icy moons. \nDuring this ESA lunch lecture (free lunch provided!)\, you’ll get the unique opportunity to hear from a speaker who has worked directly on two major ESA missions: GAIA\, which is creating the most precise 3D map of our galaxy ever made\, and JUICE\, the mission currently on its way to explore Jupiter and its moons. \nDuring the first part of the session (12:30–13:30)\, you’ll learn all about the GAIA and JUICE missions and get a glimpse into what it’s like to work at ESA. In the second part\, the session will open up for questions and discussion\, giving you the chance to dive deeper into topics like space science\, engineering\, and life at ESA. It is preferred that you attend the entire session\, but if you have other obligations that prevent you from doing so\, you may leave whenever it is convenient for you. \nMake sure to sign up fast\, and enjoy a free lunch while listening to the coolest space projects!
